How does a caterpillar change into a butterfly?

*The butterfly lays an egg. It is a caterpillar egg. The caterpillar eats leaves and fruit, not junk food. The caterpillar has to sleep in a cocoon. I like monarch butterflies.

* The butterfly lays an egg on a leaf and it turns into a caterpillar. It stays on the leaf. The caterpillar eats fruit and vegetables. They eat leaves too, so they can grow.  Then it turns into a big cocoon and it is long and it is under the leaf. The butterfly stays on the leaf and it's a nice butterfly and it stays a butterfly.
