Off to Africa

We have been to visit Africa twice in the last week. We visited a game park. We saw elephants , zebras, lions, hippos, giraffes, gazelles, cheetahs and tigers in the Game Park. On our first visit the elephants were bathing and rolling in the mud. They roll in the mud to protect themselves from the sun. Some of the elephants got angry and charged at us. They rolled our jeep over. We were upside down in the jeep. Thank goodness we were all safe and made it back to New Zealand in one piece, because Sandra forgot to ask our Mums and Dads for permission to go. Opps!!!!!

While we in Africa we discover that elephants can swim really well. They eat grass, and leaves from trees. They stay close to the waterhole, because they need water to drink. If they didn't have any water they would die.
